The German Solar Association (Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V.) represents the interests of the solar and battery storage sector in Germany and in key international markets. Made up of over 1,000 companies from across the entire value chain, BSW provides its members with information, promotes market access and acts as a facilitator between business, politics and the general public. 

For over 45 years, the association has been working successfully to help solar energy become a mainstay of the energy supply. BSW plays a decisive role in creating and securing suitable framework conditions for the expansion of solar energy and helps to ensure greater investment security. Headquartered in Berlin and maintaining effective connections to Brussels, the association guarantees its members a seat at the table when political decisions are made.
