The company, with head office in Stuhr near Bremen, was founded on 26th June 1975 and since then has been producing and marketing accessories for cables and telecommunications.

Comtec GmbH, originally an American subsidiary of Communication Technology Corporated, became independent in the year 1986 as an autonomous German company, and since then has been active successfully worldwide. We are active directly locally or with our trading partners.

Included among our customers are network providers and their suppliers, telecommunications companies, energy suppliers, electrical and wholesale companies, as well as many local companies which are involved with the extension and the maintenance of telecom networks.

For many years we have maintained very cooperative business relations with the majority of our customers. Customer satisfaction was and is a business principle of our house, and is continuously being checked for potential with regard to improvement, also within the framework of our quality management system.

The in-house production of our production plants, as a matter of course considering the factor of cost-effectiveness, enables to us to react to new market factors very rapidly and autonomously. Special requests or the production of specific, customer-tailored components are included in our day-to-day business.
