The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) is Germany's largest political foundation and bears the name of Germany's first post-war Chancellor and pioneer of European integration, whose principles are our compass, mission and duty. In our activities we promote peace, freedom, human rights and the rule of law. As a think-tank and consultative body, we are an insightful source of scientific knowledge and up-to-date analysis in order to contribute to the strengthening of democracy, the promotion of European integration and economic cooperation at bilateral and international level.
