In close collaboration with the Charité,  UniWearables is developing a user-friendly and highly scalable clinical wearable for continuous automated vital parameter recording in normal wards. Manual recording of vital signs during spot checks by nursing staff every 4 to 8 hours is the status quo in today’s hospitals. Automated continuous monitoring can not only greatly reduce the burden on nursing staff but also allows hospital staff to quickly recognise early signs of deteriorating health. As a result, serious complications and the additional treatment costs caused by these signs can be avoided.
